About Vimla
I am a secondary school educator specialising in English and Life Orientation. I have 19 years of experience in the education sector, and have achieved a 100% pass rate with my grade 12 learners over the last few years. I currently teach grades 10-12 and I am also the grade 8 head.

My teaching methodology is to cater for the multiple intelligences that learners have and tailor lessons to best suit the learners skills, interests and learning styles. My approach is one of inclusivity and to factor in the diversity that characterises a classroom in South Africa. I always seek to ensure that lessons have an immediacy and reelvance to learners own experiences no matter the topic - from my experience learners learn best when they are able to draw parallels with their own life experiences.
