About Allyson
I love working with children of all ages and have a lot of experience tutoring elementary school students. I will tailor my tutoring sessions to the areas the student is struggling in and work with the student to identify how they learn best. I have worked with many children that learn in a wide variety of ways and have practiced utilizing different methods to help them retain the information. I would love to help your child be and do their best! Graduated from Western Governers Univerity with a BA in Educational Studies and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction. Have been in education for over 13 years Have taught in Special education most of that time, and spent the last 3 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade.

I plan each tutoring session to that individual child's needs. I prefer to give students an assessment before we begin unless there has been a recent one given. I will work with teachers and parents of students to be on the same page with teaching and learning. Taking students from K5-3rd grade in math.
