About Zoe
I am a dedicated piano tutor with over 14 years of experience, specializing in teaching college students. My passion for music and teaching drives me to help students unlock their full potential on the piano.
My teaching style focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment. I believe that every student is unique, so I tailor my lessons to fit their individual needs and goals. I incorporate a variety of innovative methods, such as using technology and interactive apps, to make learning fun and effective. This approach helps students stay motivated and connected to their musical journey.
I also emphasize the importance of music theory and creativity. By teaching students how to understand the structure of music, they gain the tools to express themselves and develop their own musical voice. I encourage improvisation and experimentation, allowing students to explore different styles and genres.

My teaching approach for piano is centered around four main principles: Flexibility, Problem-solving, Cultural Sensitivity, and Accountability.
**Flexibility**: I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to meet individual needs and interests. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, I create a learning plan that works for you.
**Problem-solving**: I encourage students to think critically about challenges they encounter while playing. Together, we explore solutions and develop skills to overcome obstacles, making learning both effective and enjoyable.
**Cultural Sensitivity**: Music is a universal language, and I respect each student's unique background and cultural influences. I incorporate diverse musical styles and genres into lessons, helping students connect with the music that resonates with them.
