About Una
My teaching approach focuses on developing strong, confident singers by combining technical skills with creative expression. I emphasize posture alignment and breathing techniques to support healthy, controlled vocal production. Diction shaping and choral blend are key parts of my lessons, helping students sing clearly and harmoniously in both solo and group performances. I also guide students in musical interpretation, encouraging them to convey emotion and meaning through every phrase. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether performing in ensembles, bands, or small collaborative groups. I work closely with performers who play instruments or sing in close-knit ensembles, helping them excel in coordination, timing, and overall musicality. Through practical exercises, I develop vocal texture, stage movement, and microphone technique, ensuring students feel confident on stage. I balance technical training with real performance scenarios, allowing students to apply skills creatively. My approach nurtures individuality while maintaining strong foundational technique. Whether preparing for concerts, songwriting sessions, or recordings, I focus on building confidence, expressiveness, and a unique vocal identity. I am a singing tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I specialize in coaching performers involved in bands, open mic nights, and songwriting sessions. My lessons focus on genres like Indie Rock, Alt-Pop, and Acoustic Soul, helping artists develop a distinctive and authentic voice.
I bring expertise in lyric writing, vocal texture, stage movement, and microphone technique to every session. My creative coaching style blends emotional storytelling with technical vocal training, allowing artists to connect deeply with their music.
