About Kate
My major is English Language Teacher Education, and I am currently doing a Master of Applied Linguistics at UNSW. You can find me as an engaging teacher with an enthusiastic, positive attitude with experience in teaching English for more than 4 years, especially in tutoring English in a class or a small group. Coming to Australia, I continue to strengthen my English and teaching skills by doing different jobs, noticeably being an English tutor (specialized in General English, teaching IELTS and PTE) of Tutor Doctor Eastern Suburb for students at different ages.

My main teaching methodologies are Communicative Language Teaching (The Communicative Approach) and Grammar Translation method. I usually give lessons that can strengthen the learner's linguistics elements such as grammar, vocabulary, as well as develop 4 essential language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
