About Theodora
Teaching saxophone is more than a job for me—it is my purpose and passion. With 7 years of tutoring experience and more than 300 students taught, I have worked closely with high school and college learners to help them grow both musically and personally. From small practice rooms to stage performances, my teaching journey has been filled with meaningful milestones. Some of my students have won school-level competitions, joined college music groups, and successfully completed performance exams. Watching my students shine on stage is one of the proudest achievements of my teaching career. I focus on building confidence through strong basics, clean tone, proper breathing, and steady rhythm practice. My classes are simple, friendly, and goal-oriented. I believe that mistakes are part of learning, and I encourage students to keep trying without fear. My teaching style is warm, patient, and supportive, making sure every student feels valued and motivated. I see education as a powerful tool that builds not only musicians but also disciplined and confident individuals for life.

My teaching style for saxophone is performance-based and value-driven. I use clear and friendly communication to explain every lesson in simple steps. I encourage students to express their doubts and ideas so learning becomes interactive and fun. Through Accountability, I train students to take responsibility for their practice and progress. I guide them with daily exercises, weekly targets, and regular performance checks. This helps students build discipline and self-confidence. Integrity is at the heart of my teaching. I teach students to be honest with their practice and respectful towards music. Lessons focus on breath control, sound quality, finger speed, rhythm accuracy, and music reading. I slowly introduce songs, improvisation, and stage confidence. Along with saxophone, I also teach basic music theory, tempo control, ear training, and beginner keyboard skills for better musical understanding. My goal is to prepare students not only as good players, but also as responsible and confident musicians.
