About OREVAOGHENE
My name is OrevaOgheneBrown, a graduate of business administration from the University of Benin.
I am passionate about education and want to ensure that the average Nigerian student is not left behind in the global preparation for the future of work. This I do by ensuring that students develop core and in-demand skills during my teaching by engaging students in hands-on activities and teamwork.
I love to learn new things and I like my students to learn new things as well and know things their peers do not know. I like engaging students in research exercises on areas that interest them as well as open them to new areas of interest based on their already existing areas of interest.
I like my students to be more and question the status quo and then come up with ideas that can make things around them better. This I do by engaging them in critical and creative thinking exercises and bringing them to life by communicating and collaborating with their peers. This will build leadership skills as they will form and lead a team to achieve the goals.

I like the learner-centric approach to teaching. And I always employ the flipped classroom method, where learners get acquainted with the lesson before class.
This helps us (the learner and I) to discuss the topic from the learners perspective and makes the lesson interesting because the learner gets to own his/her learning experience. The learner also gets to engage in the lesson and not only listen to what the teacher has to say.
The learner also gets to design learning aids along with the teacher using different tools. This make the learning process fun and interesting. And helps the learner develop core skills necessary for the future of work.
