About Apekshya
I am a friendly and dedicated Engineering student at Oxford Brookes University with experience working with children and young people through tutoring, mentoring, and educational programmes. I am passionate about helping students understand subjects clearly while building their confidence and making learning enjoyable.
I can teach Maths, Physics, English, and beginner-level vocal/singing. My approach is patient and supportive, and I adapt my lessons to each student’s age, ability, and learning style. Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, or simply becoming more confident, I aim to create a comfortable environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions and improve at their own pace.
I take pride in being reliable, organised, approachable, and committed to each student’s progress. My goal is not only to help students achieve better results, but also to help them develop a genuine interest in what they are learning.

I believe learning should feel encouraging, engaging, and comfortable for every student. I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s age, level, and individual needs, using simple explanations, examples, practice questions, and interactive activities to make difficult topics easier to understand. I also encourage students to ask questions and learn at their own pace while building their confidence along the way.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student’s needs and age. I can support children and teenagers with Maths, Physics, and English, and I also offer vocal/singing lessons for beginners and learners who want to develop their confidence, technique, and musical expression.
I have experience working with children and young people through educational and outreach programmes, including designing creative learning activities, mentoring young learners, and tutoring. I enjoy creating a friendly environment where students feel comfortable learning, making mistakes, and improving step by step.
