About Jessie
I have a BA degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. At the beginning of 2018, I completed a CELTA course, and I have been teaching students of all ages and levels since then.
Here in Mexico City, I teach Business English and conversational English to private students as well as to large corporations.
I also have many years of experience tutoring children between the ages of 6 and 18 in a variety of subjects.

I am Jessie, a CELTA Certified and Native English speaker and teacher.
I offer customized classes including level assessment, conversation (both formal and informal), grammar, pronunciation, interview preparation, and business English. Classes can be face-to-face or by webcam.
I like to teach language in an accessible way, and I feel that it is very important to create a learning environment where the student feels relaxed and confident to speak.

Perfect! Jessie es una gran profesora de inglés. Te explica las cosas de una manera fácil de comprender. Es muy puntual en sus clases, lo cual es muy importante. Es muy paciente y su manera de dar la clase es muy amena e interesante, por lo que no se hace pesado o aburrido. Además es una persona muy simpática con quien se puede hablar de cualquier tema. La recomiendo ampliamente si es que quieres aprender o perfeccionar este idioma.
Excellent! Se nota que le importan sus alumnos, va ajustando la clase de acuerdo a las habilidades que le comenté me gustarían mejorar.
