About Jemima
I am a recent graduate student studying English and Political Science in the United States. I have had over two and a half years of professional tutoring experience in Washington D.C., working with children age 6-13 in a local primary school. Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have tutored students virtually and can also have experience helping children with learning disabilities. I am able to tutor all subjects up to KS3 and all humanities up to GCSE Level. I also have experience tutoring and assisting with university applications for both UK and US universities.

With the priority of making each student reach their full potential and increase their confidence, I strive to create a balance between productivity and enjoyment in each lesson. I usually work to strengthen student's understanding of topics approached in their educational curriculum and find this is achieved best when multiple sessions are scheduled per week. I think it is important to pick at least two topics per lesson to ensure students keep up concentration and are constantly stimulated.
