About Sonique
My name is Sonique. I have completed a 3 year Diploma in Events Management and Culinary Arts, a Business / Management course through College SA and various other courses which includes my TEFL TESOL Certificate to teach English. I have discovered my passion for teaching after assisting at a special needs school in Port Elizabeth South Africa and doing online teaching for young Chinese children. I thoroughly enjoy every moment and love to see how each child develops as the classes continue.

My teaching method is based online. I teach children from slides provided by the company I am employed with. I preview the slides in advance to prep for my classes. I focus on pronunciation, listening and reading skills, sentence patterns as well as writing skills. I mainly focus on one student at a time to make sure they understand the work thereafter I let them work in groups so that they can learn to interact and communicate with each other.
