About Lucas
I am currently a Film and Screen Studies student in my second year at Brighton university.
I achieved the top grades in my school in both English GCSE’s and scored in the top 10% nationwide.
I write poetry and short stories in my spare time and have a small obsession with all things relating to the art and technique of vocabulary.
I also have a natural passion for teaching, a skill requiring patience, empathy, and more patience.

I do not believe a rigid methodology will ever be effective, every person learns in subtly different ways and finding the optimal way to teach requires communication and understanding.
I grew up surrounded by step-brothers with various learning difficulties and myself found many of the methods used in my own schools to be unfortunately general with little concern for individual needs.
My teaching methodology then depends entirely on who I am teaching and what works best for them while sacrificing none of the duty and effort required to achieve optimal results.
