About Evan
I am an English student with more than 5 years teaching experience. Currently pursuing an English Associate's degree at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, CA and teaching online 'conversational' English to underprivileged kids and youth living in Vietnam. A deep reader and casual writer that is here to help students of all ages.

I approach each class differently because the goals of each student are not the same. Whether I'm teaching students to converse in English for the first time, preparing a high school senior for their SATs or discussing the themes in a Dostoevsky novel to a college student, I promise to always bring patience and knowledge to every student. I usually share my screen with a Google slides presentation, or utilize .pdf copies of common core English books and will also sometimes teach a classic whiteboard lecture through the computer.
