About Racquel
The methodology used in my classes is the Communicative Approach. This method encourages students to train speaking, listening, writing and reading skills simultaneously, in situations close to the reality of the foreign environment. In order to prepare students to interact naturally in these environments, I also use coaching techniques so that students gain confidence, autonomy and freedom during classes and after their studies.

Graduated in Letters-translation-English from the University of Brasilia in 2013, I have already worked as a translator and interpreter at the Namibian Embassy and performed independent translation services. In 2015, I started working in the classroom as an English teacher at Colégio Logosófico de Brasília and then I discovered my true aptitude for teaching languages. I later worked with the Trends Language Solutions company in Belo Horizonte and more recently with the Centro de Ensino Fisk. I am currently a private teacher of English as a second language and Portuguese for foreigners. In August 2019 I founded my own company called Step by Step - Idiomas.
