About Ricardo
Graduated in Mechatronics Engineering from Poli-USP, I worked in the area for 5 years, allocated for just over 2 years - 2013 to 2015 - in Ohio in the USA.
In addition, I lived in Boston for 6 months in 2010-2011, where I studied English at ELS and took some classes as a guest at Cambridge College.
I studied English at Cultura Inglesa for almost a decade, and also took an Accent Reduction course at Summit for Teachers and the CPE course at St. Giles São Paulo.
I started teaching English in 2007, in my first year of college. I've worked for several schools, such as Wizard, Skill, CNA, Seven and After All, having received training in all, and also at Cultura Inglesa.
I have the CAE and IELTS Certificates from Cambridge, as well as the Michigan English Test.
I am currently a private tutor at After All and on my own, and I specialize in helping advanced level students improve pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.

The method I use is of free conversation, based especially on texts and videos that are focused on the areas of greatest interest and affinity of each of my students.
Throughout the conversation, we analyze the grammar and vocabulary used in the texts, and in the face of difficulty, I bring specific materials in subsequent classes to study the themes more thoroughly.

Além de ser uma pessoa espetacular, o Ricardo tem uma didática invejável. Rápido em entender as dificuldades dos alunos, sempre tem soluções criativas. Outro destaque é seu sotaque, que, para mim, é o melhor para uma pessoa que não é nativa.
Ricardo é o tipo de professor que todo mundo quer ter. Ele se preocupa em montar a aula com assuntos de interesse do aluno, ele está sempre em busca de conteúdo pra proporcionar ao aluno a malhar aula, uma aula dinâmica e interessante. Faz correções de maneira tão sutil e eficaz, como nunca vi antes. Recomendo e indico!
