About Alexandra da Costa
My name is Alexandra but I prefer Alex. I am 25 years old and this is my 4th year in Spain. I have 3 years of experience as an English teacher in Spain. I lived in Valencia and I taught primary school for 2018-2020, in Madrid with secondary and bach for 2020-2021, and I return to Valencia this year. Graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, in 2018 and my majors were Communication and Plastic (art). I love using many different games and practical exercises to help my students learn English (:

I have a flexible teaching technique. I have experience preparing students for Cambridge exams and having more conversation-based classes. I was also educated as an artist, so I like to add creative activities whenever possible.
Children: Me likes to review the basics, grammar, vocabulary, practice different activities and always end the class with a game.
Teens (depending on the test they are preparing for) test preparation, advanced vocabulary, speaking practice, and occasional writing practice, sometimes adding chess or other games.
Adults: according to the specific needs of the students.
