About Ira
I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I’m passionate about helping students build vocal confidence, overcome performance anxiety, and connect emotionally with every song they sing. I teach a variety of styles, including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship. My lessons focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, vocal health, and live performance coaching to ensure every student sings with power and emotion. I enjoy working with shy beginners, teen performers, and aspiring recording artists, tailoring each session to their goals and comfort level. I combine technique, creativity, and stage practice to help students feel confident on any stage. Through personalized exercises and performance guidance, I help singers discover their unique voice. Every lesson is designed to be encouraging, inspiring, and fun. My goal is to make the journey of musical self-expression exciting and fulfilling. Together, we’ll build skill, confidence, and a love for singing.

My teaching method focuses on helping musicians develop stage confidence and a commanding presence. I emphasize proper breath control, clear diction, and strong posture to support vocal projection and comfort on stage.
For ensemble performers, I guide them in blending harmonies while maintaining individuality, using curated song choices to highlight strengths. Soloists receive tailored exercises to engage the audience and express emotion authentically. Movement drills and gesture coaching help students connect physically with their performance.
Microphone technique is integrated into every lesson, ensuring optimal sound and control. Video feedback allows students to see and refine their stage presence. Vocal stamina apps support consistent practice and endurance for longer performances.
I encourage each student to build self-belief and charisma gradually, combining technical mastery with artistic expression. Lessons are interactive, practical, and designed to make performing enjoyable. I focus on real-world scenarios, preparing students for live shows, recitals, and recordings.
By blending technique, movement, and expressive storytelling, students gain confidence, poise, and an engaging stage persona. Every session reinforces performance skills while nurturing individuality and creativity.
