About Isobel
I have gained ISTD Grade 6 Tap and have over three years experience assisting and teaching children ballet, tap and modern. I have a GCSE in Dance and am confident with choreographing and leading dancers- having been a ‘Dance Captain’ during sixth form.

I use my own material (choreography) and base it on age/ level of dance. I could film tutorials or do live lessons via platforms such as Zoom. I start each lesson with a fun and easy warm up to build up energy and enthusiasm levels in participants. Then I would move on to exercises focussing on technique whilst keeping it fun to maintain the children’s focus. I might also choreograph a ‘performance dance’ which I could work on with the participants so they can feel involved with the choreography and therefore have some ownership over the dance- boosting their confidence and self esteem.
