About Daniele
Buongiorno! I am Daniele, your new favorite Italian tutor! I am a linguistics undergraduate from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a current Master of Teaching student at Monash University in Naarm, also known as Melbourne, specializing in teaching languages other than English (LOTE, Italian) and English as Additional Language (EAL). I’m from the bellissima Puglia; more precisely, I was born in the CBD of Foggia, the second biggest province in Italy! However, having lived more than three years in Venice, I experienced first-hand the north-south dichotomy reigning in Italy, which allows me to help bridge potential cultural misunderstandings. Finally, my background in linguistics comes handy every time something is not clicking, as we can dissemble together the mechanisms operating at the very heart of language! Furthermore, I've been teaching Italian for 1 year in an accredited Language School that operates throughout Australia. Languages are beautiful and represent the fundamentals of our reality. We create our realities through languages. As a linguist and a fan of language, I can’t help the need for sharing the culture and pearls of wisdom attached in each and every language. From basic syntax and morphology to more advanced vocabulary and speaking, I can assist you throughout the entire experience of the acquisition of Italian. Or just communication, oral lessons, cultural understanding... just dive into the Italian experience! I can also assist you with homework and any particular issues you might be experiencing learning these languages. My method is usually communicative driven, and usually language learning happens through content and culture exposure. I usually talk in target language (Italian) so that I expose you the most to language input. But we can also start from scratch! I can accompany you in this language and gradually shift into a more Italian-like exchange of meaning. Please, ask more details through the messages here. Perfect! I highly recommend Daniele for anyone wishing to learn/expand their knowledge of the Italian language! He offers a very relaxed and friendly environment making the learning process a lot easier. I'm someone who can be quite nervous during these lessons, yet Daniele has been very accomdating to me and is extremely knowledgeable and insightful when teaching. The lessons have been very enjoyable so far and I'm looking forward our future lessons.

Daniele's got this knack for making Italian feel like second nature. With his background in linguistics and his current focus on teaching, he's got the perfect blend of expertise and passion.
