About Andrea
I am an ESL teacher and I received my Cambridge teaching certification the CELTA from the British Council. I have taught in Oman in the Middle East, Mumbai and New Delhi in India and in Perth Australia. I spent three months in Brazil where I did some private tutoring. I have also begun the Cambridge Diploma the DELTA which is equivalent to a Masters degree.
I am originally from Bangalore India. I grew up in Abu Dhabi the U.A.E. and have lived in Perth Australia since 2012. I am currently based in Esperance W.A..

I believe the teacher is a facilitator. I always aim to create a collaborative learning environment where time is spent engaging with the ideas being learned instead of passively listening to the teacher. I tailor my classes according to what it required by the respective class or student. I aim to encourage students to push themselves to upgrade their language and improve their skills, in other words to achieve optimal learning.
