About Miranda
I am an artist, primarily a painter who has exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions in Seoul, South Korea, Chicago and London. I have extensive experience in teaching and lecturing on Fine Art BA courses and foundations, and providing portfolio and interview guidance.
I am a thoughtful, sensitive and ambitious tutor, I can guide students from all levels to achieve their goals.

I’m a passionate and experienced art tutor with a warm, supportive approach to teaching. As a professional practising artist for over seven years, my work has been showcased in solo exhibitions internationally and featured in esteemed collections including the Government Art Collection, Arts Council Collection, and Soho House.
My academic experience includes lecturing at leading institutions such as University of the Arts London, University of Brighton and Kingston University on Fine Art BA, MA and Foundation courses. I’ve also worked closely with GCSE and A Level students as a visiting artist in schools, helping young creatives build confidence and refine their artistic voice and skills.
I specialise in Art & Design tuition, helping students master technical skills, build standout portfolios, and gain places at top art schools. I also have an Enhanced DBS. A typical lesson with me is hands-on, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s goals. We might explore techniques, develop sketchbook pages, refine presentation, or work through portfolio prep—always with a focus on building confidence and creative independence. I’m familiar with the major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and others), so I can guide students in meeting assessment criteria while still nurturing their unique style.
I offer tailored one-on-one tutoring that supports students with sketchbook development, presentation skills, and technical growth. I’m especially attuned to different learning styles and have experience working with students with ADHD, using adaptive strategies to help each individual thrive. I love tutoring and working with students because it’s incredibly enriching to see young people’s diverse perspectives and unique vision come to life through their artwork. It means a lot to me to be helping develop the artists of the future, helping them to achieve their goals and expand their skills.
