About Jelle
My first tutoring experience was helping a high school student from year 5 who had a mathematics test the next day. We worked for 3 hours straight, she got a 3.1 for her practice test and after the tutoring received a 9 out of 10 for her test. My studies in aerospace engineering have made that my mathematics and physics skills are on a high level. This often allows me to solve a problem in several ways this enables me to gives students multiple angles to the problem which often helps to understand the problem more thoroughly. And also help with the speed of solving.

Didactically I am very strong due to my experiences as a tutor, kite-surf instructor, exam trainer and in sales. My lessons have a dynamic structure, it all starts with looking at which topic is causing problems. Then we look at the underlying principle, because everything becomes easier with the right foundation. With the theory clear, we will discuss the problem solve it together and then of course will have more practice. I ask a lot of questions during the class to test theory knowledge and to give the student space to think for them self, which I find very important. For many topics, problems can be tackled structurally using the same method, which can help resolve a lot of confusion. Such an approach can often be formulated in a step-by-step plan or can be quickly mastered through practice and the right personal guidance. Such a structural approach has helped me a lot and the students I have taught as well. Therefore this is one of the key ingredients of my class.

Perfect! Jelle heeft me erg goed met natuurkunde geholpen. Hij probeert verschillende manieren van les geven zodat ik kon beslissen wat het beste bij mij werkte en wat ik fijn vond. Hij beheerst het stof erg goed en geeft huiswerk op bij aanvraag wat ik persoonlijk erg fijn vind.
