About Rowan
I have 6 years of experience teaching Excel and helping students build strong practical skills. I hold a Master’s Degree in Information Technology, which provided me with a strong foundation in data handling and digital tools. Over the years, I have worked with learners from different backgrounds and helped them improve through structured teaching methods.
My teaching style is simple, practical, and focused on clarity. I believe Excel should be easy to understand and apply in real situations. I break down complex tools into smaller steps and use examples to make learning effective. I encourage students to practice regularly and ask questions to build confidence gradually.
I continue to learn new Excel features and improve my teaching methods. Teaching Excel is very meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and skills over time. My goal is to support learners in building strong knowledge, confidence, and efficiency so they can use Excel independently and effectively in different areas of life.

Excel becomes simple when students understand how to use its tools effectively instead of memorizing functions without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on spreadsheets, formulas, formatting, and data analysis techniques. I explain each concept in simple English so students can follow easily and confidently. I use real-life examples such as budgets, reports, and data tracking to make learning practical and useful. This approach helps students reduce confusion and build confidence step by step. I create a friendly and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and practicing regularly.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners learn basic navigation, data entry, and simple formulas. Intermediate learners work on functions like IF, VLOOKUP, and charts. Advanced students explore pivot tables, dashboards, and automation techniques. I provide guided practice, assignments, and feedback to ensure strong understanding. This structured method helps students improve steadily and gain confidence.
As students continue learning, they develop strong data handling and analytical skills. They become more confident in organizing and interpreting information. Many students begin to enjoy working with data as they see its practical value. My goal is to help learners build strong skills and confidence so they can use Excel effectively in academic, professional, and real-life situations with clarity, speed, and efficiency.
