About Harsimran Kaur
Hi! I am a 20 year old student where I have achieved grades AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A level. As a result of my academics I have been able to attend Imperial College London, where I am about to enter my 3rd year of studying a Masters in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry (and a year in industry). As someone who used to be on an E grade in Chemistry during Year 12, I am looking forward to provide the techniques that helped me improve drastically to students that are struggling in KS3 - A level Chemistry and Biology.

My sessions typically last for 55 minutes (+5 minutes feedback time), in which I prefer to prompt discussion about the topic, make notes on the whiteboard, and draw out any diagrams that could help with the explanation. I also like to set past paper questions around halfway in to the lesson, and then normally finish off the lesson with more past paper questions if there is time. Throughout the lesson, I will ask the student if they have any questions.
For KS3-A level: I set homework when we are halfway into the chapter as well as the end, and then I will mark it - this will be discussed at the start of the upcoming lesson.
For A level Chemistry/Biology in particular: revision of AS level is very important so I will also include questions from Year 12, too.
