About Magdalina
I am currently a Teacher of Music at Queen’s College London, where I have the pleasure to work in a versatile environment - as a classroom teacher as well as 1:1 and ensemble leader. I am a Royal Academy of Music alumni, where I completed my Bachelor degree with a First Class Honours in 2020 and my Master’s Degree with distinction in 2022. I have been involved in numerous outreach projects involving leading and co leading musical workshops at local schools, children’s hospitals and public spaces.

I am a big believer that a good teacher is one that is able to react to their students' needs! Therefore I am passionate to find what works best for each of my students individually on their way to the musical world.
Over my 5+ year of teaching music and over 15 years of being a violinist, I have learned that building a strong foundation is key to finding freedom in music and discovering your own musical language. Therefore as a teacher, I insist on finding the right playing technique for each of my students first, before moving on to anything else. Establishing a good practice discipline is also key in my methodological beliefs, because once found and created, good discipline never really goes away.
I always aim to inspire my pupils to find love and enjoyment for music and to use it as a tool to express themselves!
I teach a wide range of students from early year beginners, to conservatoire level students, to adults playing violin simply for pleasure and as a hobby!

Magdalina is for many reasons a wonderful teacher: she can produce an amazing sound on her violin, I keep learning from her deep musicality and also as a person, Magdalina is more than recommendable with all her humour and positive thinking !
Magdalina has been teaching my 5 year old the violin and I appreciate her patience, knowledge and professionalism. She always finds a way to make the lesson encouraging and fun!
