About Abi
Hello! I'm Abi! I’m an experienced English teacher with 10+ years teaching ESL both online and in person, including 7 years in Shanghai, China. I’ve taught students from 18 months to adult, working in kindergartens, primary schools, and training centres, as well as tutoring for exam preparation. I’m a native English speaker based in London, with a real passion for languages and cultural exchange. I spent 7 years living in Shanghai, China, so I deeply understand the challenges that come with learning across different cultures, and I love including culture as part of my lessons. As someone who has been a language learner for almost 20 years, I know the struggles first-hand, but I also know how rewarding the journey can be. That’s why my classes are adaptable, engaging, and always student-focused. My goal is to build your confidence in English while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
