Teaching the Game I Love
I genuinely care about my students and their success. My goal isn't simply to teach you how to play better—it’s to help you reach the goals you’ve set for yourself and enjoy the journey along the way.
I love sharing my passion for billiards with others and watching my students develop their skills, gain confidence, and see their hard work translate into results.
I still remember the excitement and joy I felt when I was learning the game myself. That experience is a big part of why I became an instructor. I want to give others the same opportunity to discover what makes this sport so rewarding and inspire them to pursue their own potential.
As an OPEN/Pro-caliber player and Tri-State Tour Billiards Hall of Fame inductee, I bring years of competitive experience and firsthand knowledge of what it takes to develop your game—from building solid fundamentals to competing at a high level.

Every Student Is Different. Every Lesson Should Be, Too.
When I begin working with a new student, the first thing I do is assess their game. I want to understand what they’re already doing well, identify the areas that are holding them back, and determine what needs the most attention. From there, I work on everything from proper fundamentals and technique to more advanced concepts, depending on the individual student.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students ranging in age from 10 to 65, and one thing has become very clear: there is no one-size-fits-all approach to billiards instruction.
A good lesson plan should be customized to the student—not simply a predetermined set of drills or techniques that gets applied to everyone. Every player has different abilities, habits, challenges, goals, and ways of learning. My job as an instructor is to recognize those differences and build the instruction around the individual.
One of my favorite moments as an instructor is when a student finally breaks through a mental or technical roadblock.
Recently, I was working with a student who was struggling with a particular aspect of their game. Rather than simply telling them what they were doing wrong, I showed them a different way to approach the problem. Suddenly, everything clicked. Their face lit up like a Christmas tree, and I knew they had reached that moment of understanding.
That’s what I call the “ah-ha” moment.
Those moments are what make teaching so rewarding. Seeing a player go from “I just can't figure this out” to “Ohhh… now I get it!” is one of the best parts of being an instructor.
Before You Reach Out
There are a few things worth thinking about before scheduling a lesson.
First and foremost, be honest with yourself about your game. What area do you feel needs the most help? Is it your fundamentals, stroke, stance, aiming, position play, pattern recognition, safety play, mental game, consistency—or something else?
You don't need to have all the answers. That's part of what I'm here for.
But the more honest you can be about where you're struggling, the better I can understand your game and develop an instruction plan specifically for you.

If your looking for somebody to take lessons from Dan is the teacher for you... I took 6-8 lessons from Dan when I began I was a struggling 6 in league. Now I'm a 7-8 and got top gun first full season after my lessons. In my opinion it was money well spent. I will be heading back after the Vegas trip..
Dan has a great understanding of the game of pool. During my lessons I have learned a great deal from dan. I have played pool in the past however dan's lessons have improved my game. He has shown me how to hold my stick better and control the ball by improving my English.
I had the pleasure of getting a 2 hour private lesson with Dan Cintron a few years ago, and what he showed me during that one lesson has improved my pool game a great deal. He was very informative and helped me fine tune certain aspects of my game which have made me a better player. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their pool game, he's a great coach.
Danny it is an excellent teacher. He can teach you at any stage of the game from beginner, intermediate to advance player.
I went to Danny when I was having problems with my stroke and pattern plays. Danny helped me improve my stroke & how to look patterns on the table. Since I have gone to Danny for lessons I can run a lot more tables in 8ball & 9ball..
