About Joan
I am an ICF certified life coach with a BA in Psychology & Education and MA degree in Early Childhood Education, who has worked in the field of family relationships and conflict management for over 15 years. I have conducted one on one and group sessions guiding clients to the skills they need to contain their emotions and develop a healthy responses to triggering events. I have worked in OC Court approved anger management programs since 2005.

My coaching is based on current research findings in the field of Emotional Intelligence, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, Unlike therapy, coaching does not diagnosis or provide treatment regimen, but provides a safe space where together we can identify the triggers and causes of your anger and then develop healthy coping skills that transform aggressive inappropriate behaviors into assertive appropriate responses.
