About Robert
I believe that music can change the world. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2024 with a degree in Music Performance. At UVU, I primarily studied Clarinet Performance, but I also received ample instruction in Music Production, Conducting, Composing, and Piano. I am primarily a performer, and I seek to use music theory to make performances better. I have experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults and enjoy teaching them all.

Music is a language and music theory is simply the analysis of that language. Music theory should not make you feel disconnected from the music, rather, a firm understanding of music theory will enable you to fully enjoy the beauty of a composer's work.
We will work together to discover what makes great music great. Lessons will be catered to you and your needs. If you are currently enrolled in a theory class (whether it's AP Music in High School or Theory IV at university) we can review your homework assignments or I can give you assignments of my own. It's all based on what you want to get out of lessons.
Whatever your starting point, I guarantee that music theory can help you. Wherever we end up, I hope that you too can hear the magic of music and let it change your life for the better.
