About Dr Sophie

I am a registered Clinical Neuropsychologist, a senior researcher and I have experience teaching as a lecturer, university tutor and private tutor. I know how competitive Psychology is and how stressful students can find it trying to get started in their psychology career, and am motivated to help. I love to teach and enjoy working with students 1 on 1.

About the lesson

I love working with students to reach their academic goals. Depending on the needs of the student, I can provide guidance around a) concepts, b) structure of written work, c) content of written work, and d) general advice for exams etc. Sessions are generally 60 minutes, and I can provide verbal guidance and also feedback on written assignments. I utilise my extensive experience with both undergraduate and graduate psychology curriculum and also research methodology to ensure a motivated student can move from good to great.

Perfect! Dr Sophie is an excellent tutor who made complex statistical concepts clear and easy to follow. She explained each formula and calculation step in a way that finally made sense to me and helped me understand the logic behind the numbers. Her approach was patient, structured, and supportive. She also provided practical examples that made the material feel much more relevant and manageable. I alrady feel far more confident with statistical reasoning and exam preparation. Thank you!
