About Erin
I have been playing drums/percussion since 2011. I am experienced on snare, drumkit, xylophone, glockenspiel, timpani and many other percussion instruments. On drumkit, I can teach jazz/swing, bossa nova, rock and solo-ing. I mentored younger drummers/percussionists at my high school for three years. I also completed Year 11 ATAR Music with drums/percussion as my chosen instrument.

About the lesson

I start of with the basics, such as stick holding, simple rock beats (for drumkit), getting familiar with the instrument and reading music. Once the student is comfortable, I progress into more complicated drumming such as different time signatures or swing patterns for drumkit, or learning pieces for mallet percussion or timpani.
