About Josie
I taught English as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan for nearly 6 years and have been teaching privately online and in-person for 2 years. My students have ranged from primary school to adult age and I have experience in English conversation, IELTS, TOEIC and Business English lessons.

I like to keep my lessons friendly and relaxed whilst working towards set goals. I'm happy to adapt to each student and structure the lesson according to a student's level and style. I usually start lessons with some free conversation before focusing on a particular topic, grammar point or set of vocabulary. I also try to use different types of media (news articles, audio, video and writing exercises) to give each student a varied approach to learning English.
