About Kyle
Ever since I was a young boy i was drawn towards the different flavours of different cuisines. I learnt the basics from my grandmother.
I spent my entire secondary school at Ter Groene Poorte, where I chose to focus on bakery after two general training years. However, I continued to advance gastronomically despite specializing in bakery.
Due to my great interest in other cultures, I was able to learn a lot about different cuisines and preparation techniques. Gastronomy is one of the many gateways to different cultures. I think I can say that I e.g. am quite experienced with Mexican, Korean, Eastern European and Scandinavian cuisines (in addition to traditional French and Belgian cuisine). I am also quite good at Caribbean cuisine.

I try to provide the classes with a good structure and I will communicate practical matters in advance such as an ingredients list or the additional steps for some preparations, when required for the chosen recipe. I want to focus on teaching the techniques so that the student might have idea on how he or she can get the desired results and experiment with other flavours or ingredients. The lessons will be well adapted to the level of the student. The student can count on patience, tips and tricks and support during the lessons.
