About David
I have been teaching Science for over 10 years at a range of schools and varying abilities in South East London and Kent. I enjoy stretching and challenging the most able students but at the same time I am trying to find new ways to explain the most difficult concepts to students who find Science challenge. I specialise in A level Chemistry but I am equally as confident in Biology and Physics at GCSE level.
I am a keen runner, father of 2 children and thoroughly enjoy teaching Science.

My approach is to tailor each session to the needs of the student. I will use examples, models, diagrams and clear explanations to support understanding. Tutoring sessions will be backed up by exam specific techniques and questions.
My lessons are of the highest standard and I pride myself in providing interesting, clear and well planned sessions. I am a full time Science teacher so I am constantly up to date with all exam boards and teaching methods.

David has taught me all three sciences over the past two years. I can say with full confidence he was extremely helpful. Not only is he really smart, capable and has an excellent knowledge of the subjects, but he is also a really good tutor. Whether it be Kahoot quizzes or exam questions, he has resources that really help you learn and he is always available for you to message queries to throughout the week and is flexible if you need to reschedule. I’ve never felt shy with him, he will definitely make you feel comfortable enough to ask him anything without sounding dumb and taught me more than my school ever could. he was a huge contribution to my success in science and having him as tutor would be very beneficial, he is an excellent tutor :)
