I am a native Tagalog speaker and a licensed teacher who enjoys helping students learn Filipino in a simple, practical, and engaging way. My lessons are personalized according to each student’s level, goals, and learning pace. I use conversations, everyday vocabulary, pronunciation practice, guided exercises, and real-life situations to help students use Tagalog naturally and confidently.
A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by new vocabulary or expressions, pronunciation practice, and guided conversation. We then apply what we learn through practical situations such as greetings, introductions, ordering food, asking for directions, shopping, and everyday conversations. I also explain Filipino grammar and sentence structure clearly when needed.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, travelers, foreigners living in the Philippines, and anyone who wants to improve their conversational Tagalog. As a teacher, I am patient and encouraging, and I adjust my teaching style to make learning comfortable, useful, and enjoyable.
