About Choey
I am a dedicated mindfulness and loving-kindness meditation practitioner with over 20 years of meditation experience and a calm, compassionate, and supportive teaching approach. I also hold a diploma in counselling psychology, which supports my understanding of emotional wellbeing and mindful communication. Originally from Myanmar, where Buddhist meditation is deeply rooted in the culture, I have also learned meditation practices from forest monks. I am currently studying a Master Degree in Innovative Mindfulness at a Buddhist university in Thailand and have experience teaching meditation and facilitating meditation groups focused on self-awareness, emotional balance, and inner peace.

My approach to teaching mindfulness and loving-kindness meditation is gentle, compassionate, and supportive. I create a calm and non-judgmental space where students can practice at their own pace and develop greater self-awareness, inner peace, and emotional balance.
Sessions combine mindfulness meditation, breathing awareness, and loving-kindness (Metta) practices in a simple and accessible way. Lessons usually last 45–60 minutes and include guided meditation, mindful reflection, and practical techniques for daily life.
I support individuals reduce stress, calm overthinking, build emotional balance, and develop a sustainable meditation practice for daily life.
