About Phyllis
I have been giving private lessons since 2013. Some of my students play piano for leisure purposes, while others learn piano to obtain AMEB certificates. I assisted my students with piano exam applications and prepared them for the exam in all areas (scales, pieces, aural tests, and sight-reading). All my students passed their exams with good grades.

For kids, I choose piano pieces with lyrics. Hence, while they are playing, I can sing along, which makes children remember the melody easily and become interested in learning piano. For all my students, apart from piano pieces, I require them to play from the piano technique books for scales and finger exercises, which strengthen their piano technique and greatly improve their performance in playing piano pieces.
