About Esther
Hi, I am Esther. I hold a Master of Music degree from United States, major in Collaborative Piano and a B.A in Music (Piano Performance) from Taiwan. I had over 10 years of teaching experience and I had a wealth of knowledge and experience in performing onstage and accompaniment. To enhance my teaching, I am also trained in two levels of Orff-Schulwerk Teacher Training Course. I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay. I am based in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

I tailor my teaching approach to each student according to their needs, ability and age level. I provide different lesson approaches for exam-based (ABRSM/Trinity) or as interest, and I focus on creating a warm environment where every student can explore and learn music with confidence and joy.
In piano lessons, I use Orff and Kodaly approach to music learning, and I use notation and rhythmic games to make sure students understand and have fun at the same time. Musicianship and aural training would be taught as well in lessons. I teach students above 5 and all levels are welcome.
In theory lessons, I offer ABRSM and Trinity syllabus, from Grade 1 to 8, to prepare students for exam, college or song analysis.
Lessons typically last 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hour depends on age and level.
