About Toby
I am a passionate performer and educator with over a decade of experience, offering lessons for beginner and intermediate level students of all ages in South East London and Online.
My own musical education was largely through the Suzuki method, and though I am not a qualified Suzuki teacher, this immersive approach to learning music is a significant part both of my own practice and of my teaching.

My approach to teaching is coloured by my own experience of learning music, and the years I have spent working in schools - every student is different, and through conversation and experimentation, we will develop a structure that best supports your learning style.
For adult students, I recommend weekly 60 minute lessons.
For younger students, I would recommend lessons of 30-45 minutes, and strongly encourage parents or caregivers to be active participants in each lesson; afterall, you will be supervising practice at home!
