About Kenneth
I've spent over 20 years teaching Spanish across on three continents, and honestly, I still love it as much as when I started. I've held senior roles like Head of Spanish at Sha Tin College in Hong Kong and Head of European Languages at Doha College in Qatar, so I know what it takes to help a student go from struggling through the basics to feeling genuinely confident.
Having taught in Hong Kong, Qatar, and Ireland, I've worked with all kinds of learners — different ages, different abilities, including students with additional learning needs. That's taught me there's no single "right way" to teach — the best lessons are the ones shaped around the person actually sitting in front of me.
I'm patient, easygoing, and I genuinely care about seeing my students improve, whether that's chasing a top grade in an exam or just finally feeling comfortable having a conversation in Spanish. Come as you are, and we'll figure out what works for you.

My approach
I combine solid grammar foundations with real speaking confidence — many students know the rules but freeze up under exam pressure. Lessons mix clear explanations, active practice, and honest, encouraging feedback to build confidence, not anxiety.
Lesson length
45–60 minutes, long enough to properly cover a topic or past paper without losing focus. Happy to adjust to suit you.
Qualifications
Fully qualified Spanish teacher with over 20 years of international teaching experience, including Head of European Languages at Sha Tin College (Hong Kong) and Doha College (Qatar). I've taught across Latin America, Hong Kong, Qatar, and Ireland, including students with additional learning needs.
