About Iria
Hi there! My name is Iria and I come from northwest Spain. I have considerable experience when it comes to tutoring, since I've been a private tutor for the last four years. I have worked with students from different backgrounds and age groups (from toddlers to adults). I offer personalized, stimulating, and effective lessons to guarantee the best results! I have a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, so my level of English is advanced, which will make communication easy between us. In addition, I am currently taking an online course in ELE (Español Como Lengua Extranjera - Spanish as second language) by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid in order to improve my teaching skills while developing new ones. I base my classes on the personal motivations and needs of each of my students. For instance, if a student loves reading, I will use excerpts from different books and literature in general as a way to engage him in the class. I always ask my students about their interests and passions, so we can apply them to the Spanish lessons. This way students feel more motivated and get to learn the language efficiently.
