I've been teaching English at GCSE level for 5 years to large and small classes ranging from pupils with special educational needs to pupils aiming for Grade 9s at GCSE. I base my teaching on Rosenshine's of Instruction. I aim to move pupils from novice to master following the latest pedagogy. I follow an 'I-We-You' approach when planning and scaffolding content that allows learners to develop confidence and competence quickly when working independently.
Check out the link for my YouTube channel I began at the start of the 2020 Lockdown for examples of how this works.
