About Anthony B

Before forming his own company, Anthony previously worked for nationally renowned test companies on both the west and east coasts.

Anthony has a degree from Bucknell University and has helped students get into the colleges of their choice. Such schools include Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, Boston College, Emory, Lafayette College, and many other competitive schools.

At Blue Star, Anthony believes that a tutor is not only there to educate a student, but also to personally tailor each lesson to suit the individual needs of each student. He wants them to walk away feeling all the more empowered after a lesson. From Anthony: “I keep the sessions fun, yet educational and really like to connect on a personal level with all my students.” Learning can truly be fun and enjoyable yet still educational. Anthony loves the moment the student's light bulb goes off and the infomation clicks.

Being a small, agile company allows Blue Star to offer students better instruction at a fraction of the price of bulkier, “big-name,” tutoring companies.

I like to discuss the needs of the student in advance of the session with the parent so we can start off the first session with momentum and a game plan.

When I first start a session, I like to get to know my student as a person and what their interests are academically and extracurricular.
