About Sanam
I graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2018 and will be starting medical school this fall. I have four years of experience tutoring students in grades K-12 in math, English, history, and science. Further, I worked as a teaching assistant in a summer camp for students ages 4-9. I learned a lot about supporting students academic growth in fun, engaging ways. I also served as a chemisty teaching assistant during my time at Johns Hopkins, and would thus be able to work with older students as well.
As a future medical student, I can also help students with standarized tests, including the SAT, AP exams, and the MCAT.
I'd love to help your student grow as a learner by trying to understand their perspectives and motivating them to learn key problem solving skills.
I love working with students to understand their perspectives -- what's confusing them and why. That why, I can try to support them as they learn to navigate their academic challenges.
