About Matthew
I have been acting professionally for over 25 years in TV, Film and Theatre (both in plays & musicals).
I have won a number of awards as an actor.
Over the past few years I come to realise the key is bringing yourself to your work.
Once I became a father I started to understand who I was and finding the courage to bring that unique quality to my work has caused a monumental shift in my work.
I know people and I am excited to call people on the things that limit them. I challange actors from a place of love and admiration. People are amazing. Pretty much everyone is amazing. We just have different limitations we put on who we are. Some of these limitations are drilled into us as children or we picked them up gradually at school or through a particular relationship.
It's time to breathe and know you are all and everything you ever need to be.

I was an actor first and realised I wanted to work with others finding their way in the business. I love communicating and working through story telling. I am especially excited by the notion of making it in the industry and how we can best manage our time and efforts to enhance our chances of achieving our personal and professional goals.

I like to have an initial meeting to see if our individual apporach to the work is a good fit. We sit and talk about what we want and how to best go about reaching our goals.
All types
All ages, genders and races.
All I ask is for an open mind and a bit of courage. I always want a teaxcher that is honest and tells me how it is. I want to be that teacher and do so in a nurturing way.
Be prepared to be honest with yourself.
We MUST have the capacity for self analysis. We must have an open mind if we want to tell sories and connect with other people.
The Color Purple on Broadway was a significant live story telling experience for me. It was honest, heartbreaking and inspiring.

What do I want in my career?
Be brave. Reach for the stars if you want the stars. Be mindful of the limitations that creep in when we think about this. It's very common to dampen our dreams because we are scared.
