About Sophia
I am a Supplemental Instructor for college English. I also tutor TSI reading and writing, Psychology and Sociology, and Occupational Health and Safety.
i enjoy photography and modeling in my free time. I like to think of myself as a Jill of all trades.
I enjoy breaking down lessons to where the student obtains a better understanding. I feel as if my past of learning has helps me find better ways of understanding. I enjoy the happiness I feel when my students leave a session.
I began teaching while finishing my associates. I enjoyed it so much I have moved up from a tutor to supplemental instructing while working on my bachelors degree.
I have an associates in Psychology, Sociology, Social Science, and Occupational Safety & Environmental Technology. I am certified in Occupational Safety & Environmental Technology in General Industry. I have been working at the college I've graduated since 2019 as a tutor, academic expert, and a supplemental instructor.
