About Siloe
My name is Siloé, and I am a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students learn and feel more confident in school. I grew up in France and moved to Los Angeles around 9 years ago, so I understand what it is like to adapt to different learning environments and teaching styles. I currently attend an international school where I am completing both the French Baccalaureate and the IB program.
I already have tutoring experience working with children and students from different levels, especially in elementary and middle school. I enjoy explaining subjects in a simple and clear way so students can truly understand without feeling overwhelmed. I can help with math, AP Statistics, science, chemistry, physics, and trigonometry. My goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

I am a patient and supportive tutor who wants students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Since I already tutor students, I have experience explaining subjects in a simple and clear way, especially for elementary and middle school students. I also completed AP Statistics, so I can help with math and statistics at different levels.
My lessons usually begin with a quick review of what the student already knows, then we work through new concepts step by step together. I like using practice problems, examples, and simple explanations to help students really understand instead of just memorizing. At the end of the lesson, we review mistakes and important points to make sure the student feels confident.
What sets me apart is that I am very understanding and adaptable. I know every student learns differently, so I change my teaching style depending on the student’s needs. I try to make lessons less stressful and more motivating so students can improve while also gaining confidence in themselves.
My lessons are mainly for elementary and middle school students, but I can also help high school students in subjects such as math, AP Statistics, basic science, chemistry, physics, and trigonometry.
