I was very impressed on how Rick coached my daughter in a way she didnt feel like she was being coached. He was very thorough in explaining why we needed to change things as well as why things are done in a certain way. He was very motivational, caring and always checks in with us. We are very thankful for meeting rick and plan on working together for a very long time.

Ric has a wonderful sense of humor, which he matches with his ability to give constructive criticism. I have a 10 year old daughter and an 11 year old son who have worked with Ric to improve their shooting skills and mental aspect of shooting and competing. Ric’s instruction is done in a way that the student, children and adults, understands the concepts and theory behind why archers do things the way they do. He is very knowledgeable of all the various archery disciplines and the equipment involved. Ric is an excellent coach. He uses a quick wit and great sense of humor to keep things positive even when he is critiquing your form or mechanics. You never walk away feeling down about anything. He also places a strong emphasis on mental focus rather than just the physical aspects of archery.

Ric has been an amazing archery coach for my entire family. My teenage son has really fallen in love with it. Ric has taught our son a solid foundation and continues to advance his skills. My son is quiet and Ric has a way of pulling him out of his shell and creating a supportive environment while also challenging him.

Highly recommend working with Aim High Archery. In just a couple hours my kids and I were shooting tight groups from 40 yds out. Positive feedback throughout the entire coaching process. Overall great time and fun Coach to be around.

Very experienced and skillful instructor, with a passion for archery whether it’s for hunting or sport. He keeps it fun and entertaining while keeping Saftey his first priority. I enjoyed the 3D targets they took the whole experience to another level.

Amazing family experience - kids and adults alike! Ric is extremely knowledgeable and manages to be both safety- and fun-focused! My family was able to use both recurve and compound bows and aim at a variety of target types. It is now a favorite group pastime of ours.
