About Lizzy
As a very young but experienced tutor, I am very relatable. I have realized this makes my tutees very comfortable during sessions. I am able to easily spot a confused look and redefine the subject matter in a way that improves the understanding of my students.
Light bulb moment! I enjoy experiencing the relief on my students' faces when a once confusing part of the subject suddenly becomes clearer. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and reinforces my passion for tutoring.
During my undergraduate years I would tutor my peers to help them understand and solidify my own understanding too. After completing my bachelor's degree I decided to start tutoring professionally as a suplemental source of income. I enjoy tutoring and meeting new student.
I have tutored for about 4 years now. In those years I have tutored mostly highschoolers and college freshmen and sophomores. I have tutored approximately 30 students.
