About David
I am personable and passionate about programming, coding, development, software engineering or whatever you'd like to call it! Building websites and apps has been my expertise since I was 20, and I love sharing all the exciting technologies I've been learning. I am always happy to help you develop your skills and knowledge no matter what level you're at.
I was a Senior Software Engineer at my previous position where I developed an enterprise application and assisted fellow coworkers in learning new frontend technologies and industry-standard best-practices and workflows.
During my university education, I was a Teacher's Assistant (TA) at Bradley University for two years, assisting with two Interactive Media Department courses. I assisted with the Introduction to Interactive Media Development class, teaching programming in Processing, and the Interactive Media Scripting Languages class, which covers HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. I enjoyed working with students to debug projects and prepare for exams.
I love teaching, training, and tutoring, because I find it to be rewarding and exciting. I always enjoy seeing others progress and improve their practice. I am passionate about helping people self-actualize and achieve their greatest potential.
It is a treasure to help people discover their talents in programming; I get excited about unlocking people's fascinations with code. I believe anyone and everyone can learn to code.
I began teaching as a university TA (Teacher's Assistant) when the chair of my program asked me to help out with his courses because he saw potential in my abiilties to relate and communicate with students, understand student needs, and explain important concepts.
